At Life Long Dental we believe that dental health is more than “fillings and cleanings” or “extreme makeover” dentistry. We believe in providing the best possible combination of services to help you maintain “Life Long Dental Health”. Our mission is to get you as dentally healthy as possible based on your individual needs and maintain you in a stable condition for life.

At Life Long Dental our goal is to tailor your treatment to something that works great for you.

About Us

David Sherrard changed careers from a technical writer/service marketing advisor for a large corporation to pursue dentistry as a third-generation dentist. His father made a career of preserving his patients' natural teeth. Many of his father's patients sought him out after being advised by other dentists that their teeth were hopeless and they needed dentures. He built his practice on trust, one patient at a time, from referrals within the community. David Sherrard started his first dental practice in 1998 after working as an associate following dental school. The business was started, like his father's, one patient at a time. Typically, this involved getting clients out of an "emergency cycle of care" that they had fallen into. In 2000 he acquired and merged an established practice into his own and continued to cultivate his professional reputation along the same basic premise.

Dentistry is considerably more complex than a generation ago. Patients have many more choices of treatment than ever before. There are also many insurance plans with complex reimbursement schedules that often times are not easily understood. At Life Long Dental we believe there is a greater than ever chance to become confused and bewildered because of this. People typically avoid dental care due to time, fear and money. The primary ingredient necessary to get past this is the formation of trust between the dentist and the client.

What to Expect

â—¦Attend to that first.
â—¦Make every effort to treat it that day.
•We will look at the condition of your whole mouth.
•We will tell you about everything we see.
•We will create a treatment plan and treat in the order of severity and perform treatment where the most work can be performed based on your comfort.
•We won't create a treatment plan based your wallet, purse or your insurance plan.
•We will refer you to a specialist if any procedure causes you concern.
•We will consider various forms of sedation if it will work best for you.
