Dr. Eugene Yang was born in the Philippines. His parents, both physicians, relocated their family to Superior, Arizona in 1970. He entered the University of Arizona’s two-year pre-dental program, and went on to earn his dental degree from the University of the East, Philippines.

Dr. Julie Yang was born in the Philippines, and spent her childhood and teenage years there. After high school graduation, she earned her pre-doctorate and dental degree from the University of the East.

After meeting in dental school and getting married in the Philippines, Drs. Gene and Julie returned to Arizona and started practicing dentistry in Tucson. In 1985, they established their roots in Casa Grande. They first opened their dental practice on Florence Boulevard, and then constructed a 3,800-square-foot dental office on Cottonwood Lane in 1994, welcoming patients from Casa Grande and nearby communities such as Coolidge, Florence, Toltec, Eloy, Arizona City, Anthem, Queen Creek, and Maricopa.

Dr. Gene and Julie’s daughter, Dr. Janelle, grew up in Casa Grande, Arizona, attended Valley Christian High School in Chandler, and went on to the University of Arizona to earn a bachelors’ degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology.

Dr. Phil Horsley was born in Buffalo, New York, but the remarkable Arizona weather soon inspired his family to relocate to Phoenix in 1986. He attended Greenway High School in Glendale, then continued to the University of Arizona to earn a bachelors’ degree in Microbiology.

After completing their bachelors’ degrees in three years, Phil and Janelle moved to southern California to attend dental school. They were married in 2007, and were the two youngest students in their class when they graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2008. They are excited to be back in the Casa Grande valley, and are eagerly continuing the family tradition of providing excellent dental care.

All four doctors have the same simple mission: To treat every patient as though they were a family member or close friend, providing them with the best possible dental treatment.
